Baye McNeil

When blogging became a thing in Japan back in 2007 or so, English teacher Baye McNeil was one of the must-reads for foreigners in Japan with his Loco in Yokohama blog. Since then, he has become a respected voice on racial issues with a column for The Japan Times and is frequently featured in the international press. This is my colourful interpretation of him.

2007年頃に日本でブログが普及し始めた頃、英語教師のBaye McNeilは「Loco in Yokohama」というブログで日本にいる外国人にとって必読の存在でした。それ以来、彼は『ジャパンタイムズ』のコラムで人種問題について尊敬される声となり、国際的なメディアでも頻繁に取り上げられています。これは、彼を色鮮やかに解釈した私の作品です。
